Only complaint is the clip is not deep enough to let the pedometer sit snugly on waist of pant/skirt. otherwise, love it.
Accurate but bulky August 15, 2008
The Omron HJ-720-ITC is a great pedometer. I clip on the security strap (definitely needed!) and stick it in my pocket. Basically, I leave it and forget it. I love the ability to download my info and watch my improvements!
Pros:
Accurate
Can wear in pocket, on waistband, around neck, etc., and it still records steps
Downloadable! I love this feature!
Tracks aerobic steps
Shows last 7 days of walking info
Security strap
Resets itself every night
Cons:
Bulky! Doesn't stay clipped on waistband if I move to much.

I have used pedometers in the past that are not accurate. This seems to be very accurate. I like that I dont have to worry about every little movement I make, as with other ones. This one doesn't start counting until a few seconds after it senses movement. It is very easy to download all the info into the computer program and fun to be able look at the info once it's in there. I like that more than one person can use the program. I use my pedometer everyday and love it!!! :)

I love, love, LOVE this pedometer. I have owned many other brands and styles and no other has been as accurate or easy to use. Easy to operate (?), set up and read, I like being able to see the kcal burned, miles walked, steps taken, and how many steps were aerobic. The software that comes with the unit is easy to use as well. I recommend backing up the data at least once a week, which is also very easy to do. I love this pedometer so much, I bought one for my husband.

Great product, sturdier than many other pedometers. Accurate regardless of where located (clip on or stuck in pants pocket). Data storage and the automatic reset to zero at midnight is great.
I'd have given it 5 stars but the software is Windows only and I am a linux user.
