I have to say since I have received my Omron HJ-7201TC Pocket Pedometer with Advanced Omron Health Management Software on May 22, 2007, I have walked a total of 74.75 miles since. I LOVE MY OMRON - it's so nice to clip this product to my side and off I go. I love the usb and the software is awesome down to the hour of time you walked, charts and graphs are awesome.
This is a little gem - With a little help from Tech Support to set up my Omron (Customer Service was a pleasure to deal with, I might add) I was up and walking.
I love the fact that I can walk a number of times a day and have my pedometer total the whole day for me down to the hour.
This is money well spent - Omron has a customer for life in me.

Having recently starting a new health regimen including walking, I grew tired of my old pedometer (a cheap unit that I picked up at a sporting goods store for $10) and wanted something easier to set, as well as be able to notate progress. I had heard about a pedometer that had a USB port and set out to find it----the Omron HJ-720ITC Pocket Pedometer! As a test, I calibrated it against my old pedometer and a GPS unit and found it to be on par with my GPS unit. This unit smokes my old pedometer. The accompanying software is great for tracking your progress. I now vary my treks without worrying about whether my distance or steps will be accurate. If they ever build a pedometer with a GPS, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

Fantastic pedometer. I have tried several different pedometers. Several different brands from Target and none of them lasted very long or were very accurate. My sister and I walk everyday and they are so accurate. We each have one and love them!!!! My mom has one too which purchased at the same time as I did and her battery just went dead. It lasted from the end of April to the end of June so about three months. Mine is still ticking. I love this pedometer it hardly ever falls off my waist line of my pants but if it does the security clip keeps it from going very far. No other pedometer competes with this one. I also love the software where you can keep track of you workout. My only complaint is it is a little pricer than the other models.

I have counted steps while wearing this device and it is very accurate. I was so surprised to find out how few steps I was taking in a day. I now can look down and if I have not done a certain number of steps in that day, I get on my elliptical (yes it still counts them fairly accurately) or I go out walking after work. It has helped. I am losing inches and weight.
