bought this waterpik after purchasing the cordless water pik. the cordless unit waslike a toy noise and poor pressure and not a lot of capacity. the corded unit is much better with more pressure and greater volume.

Although flossing is good for between-the-teeth cleaning, nothing is better than a water-jet for cleaning at the gumline on both sides of the teeth. It's particularly good for those back molars where you can't get your toothbrush close to the gumline. Even with flossing, I had some minor bleeding on occasion. The directions for this product indicates that you should start to see improvement within two weeks. I saw it within five days. I went in for an oral cleaning on the fifth day of use, and my oral hygenist commented that my mouth looked alot better. After two and one-half weeks of use, the gum soreness I've always had where my partial attaches is gone. Included are attachmentsWaterpik WP-100 Ultra Dental Water Jet for cleaning your tongue, rubber-tip for gum massage, tooth brush, and extra picks. It has plenty of power. I haven't had to put the variable pressure above 4, and it goes up to 10. The only change I'd make to the product is to lengthen the water line from the unit to the applicator, as you must bend over the sink to use it. I'm glad I purchased it.

It is a nice way to floss if you have the counter space available in your bathroom.

Bought this product even though some of the reviews were not that great and I can see why. When using this product if the water well is not securely on (sometimes you need to hold it down) it will not work. For the price I thought this product should work properly. I would not recommend this product it is not worth the money.
