 No more scissors or ridiculous battery operated junk August 19, 2008
I've gone through various nose hair trimmers and none come close to the Groom Mate. It is extremely well made and I believe that it will last me a lifetime assuming I don't lose it. Best part: no more batteries, no fiddling with fragile nose hair trimmers that break so easily, no pulling or tearing hairs and no pain whatsoever.

I was a bit unsure about this item but I thought I'd give it a try. I am glad I did. This product seems well made. I think one of the coolest things about it is that it requires no batteries. I am a gadget person and I own so many gadget that require charge cords or batteries and it is great to have a new one that needs neither.
Doesn't Pull Nose Hair August 17, 2008
This is the very first nose hair trimmer that I have ever owned,including scissors, that has not pulled out my nose hairs when in use. I was aware of this type of rotary nose hair trimmer before and had tried a cheaply made imported version that was really bad. This Platinum XL trimmer is perfect and the fact that it is made in the USA is even better.
It is also quite easy to use and with a little practice I am now able to get as close to the inside of my nostrils as a I like.
Also, as an FYI, I have a moustache and every once in a while I have a hair that curls up and looks awful and I use the Platinum XL for trimming those hairs as well, which is especially useful for when I am on the road.
I am very happy with my purchase and the service from this company was top-notch.
 Not what I expected August 11, 2008
This is okay. It does seem simple to use but not as effective as a battery powered model. Its a little uncomfortable at times (pulls hair) and doesn't seem as effortless as I imagined. It does seem extremely well made and durable.

First of all this product is not automatic ,it is not motorized in any sense of the word,you have to manually twist this thing, besides that it's alright, I mean it works. Nuf said....
