This iron hasn't failed me yet even though I have only had it for about a month or so. I use it at least once a week, it gets very hot really fast and it straightens my hair like no other. My hair stays perfectly straight despite ALOT of humidity. I was scared to buy the iron because of all of the defects I read about (the electrical wire/connection) but so far I have not had a problem. I don't wrap it tightly when i am done with it and I've made sure not to drop it...so far so good!

This flat iron is awesome. It heats up quickly and works effectively. The only drawback I find is that it doesn't have an auto-off feature.

does anyone have a kyoseki (i have no idea if thats how its spelled) but if so is it better than the chi?? the chi is awesome and has only one flau went it gets hot its HOT and has no protection area on the tips to pull (if you use both hands)

I bought this product after a previous flat iron (Titanium Tools Professional Flat Iron by Jilbere) decided to die after one very faithful year of use =( This iron would've have been better if it had a temperature dial and if the body was not so "clunky" as my mom said. My old one cost a lot less and gave me much better results.

This is my favorite product I've ever bought. This straightener does a great job. doesn't damage, straightens fast, heats fast, its perfect!
