At the last minute, I bought this blower instead of the cheaper blower with the plastic fan blade. I'm not sure how much difference the metal fan will make, but I found the variable speed dial very useful, and made me glad I got this model instead. This feature was not on the cheaper blower. I only wish this blower was lighter, but other similar models are not much lighter. This blower is powerful enough to kick back a little when you turn it on full blast! One small design mistake is that there is no cord retention system. You have to tie the two cords together before you plug them together or they will just pull apart at the first tug.

I can only speak on the blower function of the Toro Ultra. I have not had the chance to really use the other features of this blower. The blower function works great. It has great ease of air control speed, and does the job very well. It is much lighter than I thought it would be. I have a huge corner lot so the Toro Ultra has been great to have since I do not have to sweep up the street anymore. I used to have to sweep for 45 minutes, and now I can clean everything up within 20 minutes. I think this is an overall great product for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

I wasn't certain I would need the ability to reduce the blower speed, but was pleasantly surprised to find how much I like it. The air flow is great at 1/2 speed, and quieter, then I can turn it up when needed. I would recommend it to a friend.
This thing Blows June 10, 2008
Works Great. Easy to use and put together. Very light for the power it gives out. Haven't used the bagging feature but I bought it for the big wind! Use with a quality Xtension cord and this thing should last for years, it is a Toro.
