I bought this unit to blow dust, dirt and leaves from my property and that it does well, it came with attachments for vacuuming also but I've not used them yet so I can't comment. As a blower it moves lots of air and I would compare it to any gas units I've used without the mess, cost and fumes of gas blowers. Good value

I've had this blower now for a year and I am very pleased with its performance & ease of use. Its great that I dont have to struggle with starting a gas powered one anymore! It is just as powerful as my husbands commercial blower & much less expensive. This is definately a winner! Buy it with confidence!

Bought the Toro Ultra to replace a very loud gas powered blower. Oh my, the difference is astonishing. Not only is the Toro much quieter it is more powerful and about half the weight. The cord is not as convenient as the gas powered but I don't smell like gas or oil after using the Toro and my wrist doesn't hurt from the weight. I really wanted the portability of a gas powered blower but I am so much happier with the Toro Ultra. The price was also fantastic. Highly recommend.

Heavy duty blower. Bought it because consumer reports rated it high. They were right. Easy to handle will blow leaves and well as suck them up and bag them. Very happy with machine.
Toro has blown me away. July 19, 2008
I bought this blower after much research. It was well worth it. This blower is straightforward and simple right out of the box. In 5 minutes I was out blowing lawn clippings. It is much quieter than my neighbors gas model and I don't stink like a mix of gas and oil when I'm done. Just make sure you use a heavy gauge extension cable to make the most out of it. I use a 14 gauge 100ft one. The throttle control is great considering it is a knob you turn to dial in just the right amount of air you need. At the highest setting there is some pull but nothing like any other I have used. Solid feel and Toro reliability. Light enough for wife to use on the patio. I haven't used the vacuum on it but will this fall. I have now bought 3 of these so far. One for myself and two for family who fell in love with it after they saw mine. Another great Toro product.
