Product works great for the money (actually, I haven't had any problems at all). I've read a few reviews about certain 1080p products having issues with it. Like any product, I'm sure there may be a few that are less perfect than others, or it may be that these people are using equipment that is less tolerant to certain cables. Either way, I'm using several of these cables running 1080p and am having no issues. I would say in most cases you are safe using this for 1080p connections, which is perfect for the price. After a little research, I've actually found that if the cable is labled with the hdmi logo (which this cable is), the less expensive thinner ones are more likely to have less problems than the thicker Monster type cables (if the length is less than 10 meters), which are more likely to create timing issues with the signals. But don't take my word for it. Do a little research.
Great cables, great price. Makes it a perfect product in my book.
Is as advertised October 12, 2008
As other reviewers have stated, don't pay more for "premier" products when it comes to HDMI cables. This one works as advertised and was under $4 bucks delivered. Not sure you could beat that with a garden hose! :-)
Don't be fooled by the expensive stuff October 12, 2008
I just bought this HDMI Cable for my new X-Box 360 and, boy, was it a steal! You can buy the official X-Box version if you want to, but a normal HDMI cable such as this will work just fine. With all the money you'll save, you can buy another game!
Cheap, and it works! October 12, 2008
I plugged this into my xbox 360 and now have hi-def graphics from that console. I feel positively victimized that I paid $60 for one of these a few months back at best buy to hook up my Dish...at that one was a lot cheaper than the $100 cables they were selling. I have no idea what that price difference buys you...based on my experience with this cable, it buys you nothing.
