Takes me back and entertains the whole family August 12, 2008 Psych is one of the best shows on cable TV. I rarely TIVO a show but this one my family watches over and over. We quote Psych lines all the time. I love the obscure 80's references since that was my decade. Found out James (Shaun) and I grew up in the same city and our high schools played against each other. I began watchign the show because I was a Dule Hill fan but now I watch it for their (Shawn and Gus)banter. The writers are awesome! Mostly clean for the whole family. Occasional mild swear word or innuendo goes over my kid's heads. Scary Sherry by far my favorite episode from season 1. Season 2 best episode is American Duos! Must see! I have never purchased a TV show but had to own Psych on DVD!
I watch it with the subtitles on... August 10, 2008 because the dialogue comes at me so fast & furious (& funny!) that it helps catch it all. Shawn's lines are frequently *hilarious*.
It's a slightly uneven show but very, very, entertaining and light-hearted but not light-weight. The writers sometime steal little things from old shows like Columbo, but it's done more as an homage, IMHO. Good stuff.
Psyched for Psych August 9, 2008 A refreshingly original and cleverly written comedy, Psych is full of laughs and fun characters. James Roday is hilarious in his antics and interactions with the rest of the cast.
Psyche second season August 8, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
first CD in season is poor quality in any category; others are much better but character development is for the most part lacking.
Great DVD August 5, 2008 If you enjoyed the first season of Psych, you will enjoy this second season. Hope this tv series lasts for awhile.
