Plastic storage containers cannot compare to the durability of Pyrex. They do not absorb odors, nor do they stain from highly pigmented food and they do not release toxic chemicals.

I always read reviews before I purchase anything. These were as good as all the reviews said! With all of this talk about how bad plastic is for you I decided to try these out. I use them for left-overs, for freezer jam, and when my kids start school in the fall I will pack them in their lunches for yogurt and apple sauce. Another really good thing about them is that I am really lazy. When I use plastic containers and the left overs go bad I just toss the whole container. There is no way I would consider throwing one of these puppies away! I will be buying more of these!

I was unsure of the size of these products, but was very pleased when I ordered them. I use them all! They are very easy to clean, the tops go on easily, and they are very sturdy from freezer to microwave.
