It is a real shame for Symington that the second review was written: I found this guide a very useful companion when holidaying in the region. Although we weren't using it for accommodation or transport, the listings for eateries, shops, bars and clubs were excellent and spot on. As for the write ups for places and sights, they were also completely representative and helped us make the most of our time on the coast. At no point were we disappointed. Well done on a fantastic guidebook.

Woeful, out of date, odd recommendations, bad maps, lacking information, not enough reviews nor enough options. Will never stray from Rough Guide or Time Out ever ever again. What a waste of money and time!

This book is very informative, it contains public transport details, including journey times, frequency and approx prices. there are sections on different areas of the Costa de la Luz as well as accommodation, restaurants etc. This book is a must if you're new to the area and are visiting. If you are planning to buy property then you'll need this one as a must but you'll need a different book to cover the property side of things. It is a handy size too.
