A must read if you are serious about trackingFebruary 3, 2004 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Not to be missed. If you are interested in tracking then this is the book to get. It goes beyond just looking at the sign of what you are tracking be it human or animal but goes into what that animal was thinking doing etc.
This really goes into some depth on the subject and really is the best book around. Add this to animal signs and tracks by Oxford and you have a winning combo for sure.
Building my dirt box now to get some as Tom would say "Dirt time" there's no substitute
If you can't learn to track from this, You can't learn!!!May 22, 1999 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
A wonderfully written and concise instructional manual. I have a degree in fish/wildlife management and have spent most of my life in the outdoors. I know a good outdoor book when I read one and this is GREAT!! But what else could you expect from TOM BROWN?
